Stop wars I'm scared.

The article I'm going to render comes from English online-newspaper "Vox World".The headline of the article is "NO,Turkey shooting down a Russian warplane will not spark World War III.
The author of the article is Max Fisher .The article was published on November 25,2015.
The article touches upon wars  and international relationships between Russia and NATO countries.
The main idea of the article is to give readers some information of international situation and to  reassure them that nowadays acts of Turkey ,Russia and NATO countries would not spark World War III.

The author starts by telling the reader about the incident that had hapened on November 24 ,when Russian warplane was shooting down by Turkey on its border with Syria.

He tells that there are majority of  reasons why people worry about starting World War III.

The first reason he stresses is Turkey is NATO ally, which means that other NATO countries as USA,Germany can be obliged to come to its defense against an external attack.Next the author emits that the tensions between Russia and NATO have been rising for two years, and now both are bombing on opposite sides in Syria. It was the second reason.

The author's attention is focused on that there is no serious reasons for war.Further he proves his point of view .

The first reason he stresses is the stakes are just too low.He tells that neither Russia nor NATO would not care enough for bombing one warplane and lives of two pilots to risk a major war.

The next important factor he stresses is that the Syria-Turkish border is so far from Russia or from central Europe and there is just zero risk that either side could misperceive this as the start of something bigger. Then the author offers the third reason why this conflict would not spark the war.He tells that the number of Russian forces located in or near Syria is quite small and the US forces in the region are also relatively modest. In my opinion it's the most powerful proof.
In conclusion the author allocates the maon proofs of his point of view:Neither Russia nor NATO has enough at stake to escalate to anything near the point of war. Neither has the physical military capability to do so in this region. And because the Syria-Turkey border is so far removed from either Russia or Europe, there is very little risk of unintended escalation.
As for me I found this article very interesting. I'm interested in politics, especially nowadays events can't be passed unnoticed.I consider the information to be very actual and important not only for me but for majority of people for all over the world.

Gurova

The article I’m going to give a review of is taken from " The Telegraph".
The headline of the article is "School for deaf children under threat following funding shortfall". The authors of the article are Josie Gurney-Read, Alan Tovey. It was published on 7th november 2015. The author  in the article touches upon the problem of closing a school providing specialist education for deaf children.
The story begins that with the statement  that some 120 staff have been made redundant as education charity. The authors start by telling the reader that the school providing specialist education for deaf children is at risk of closure unless a long term funding solution can be found. And they introduce the John Townsend Trust, an educational charity which operates The Royal School for Deaf Children Margate along with Westgate College for Deaf People, was placed in administration as a financial review of the trust is undertaken. The authors point out that unless funding is found within weeks, the schools and other services could face closure. The authors mention that The Royal School for Deaf Children provides a specialist education and residential environment for some 55 children aged four to 19 who are deaf, have a hearing impediment or communication difficulty, while Westgate College for Deaf People offers specialist educational services to 55 young people between the ages of 19 and 22. Moreover, each child and young person at the schools works alongside a staff member to meet their individual needs. According to the article  the Care Quality Commission  took urgent enforcement action to limit the services which can be provided at Westgate College for Deaf People and the Road Project. To stress the situation the authors give a warning that the school will continue to work very closely with Kent County Council and health colleagues to ensure that people using the services receive the service to which they are entitled. The authors conclude by saying that Alongside education provision, the John Townsend Trust runs a range of community living services, including the The ROAD project for deaf people, and supported living accommodation.
And they make it clear that the Trust also operates four charity shops in Kent.
I found this atricle rather important and interesting. Taking into consideration the fact that the school can be closed, I was shocked. From me point of view it's very inportant that there're such schools which provide a special education for children who are deaf. As  far as I am able to judge, the goverment should finance such schools because it's necessary that deaf people will be able to be a part of society.
Dear friends, what do you think about this article? Do you know any organizations which help deaf people in our town?

The headline of the article is "Surge in number of UK adults with diabetes". The author of the article is Dr. Andreas Eenfeldt. It was published in "The gurdian" on 14th November 2015.
The main idea of the article is the problem of diabetes and researching of new treatments for the condition.
The author starts by telling the reader that the number of UK adults with diabetes has risen by more than 65% since 2005, figures show. Almost 3.5 million people are living with diabetes, according to analysis of GP data for the British Heart Foundation (BHF). The author writes that the main causes of this disease are obesity and unhealthy lifestyles. He also states that having diabetes doubles a person’s risk of a heart attack. According to the text many professors are anxious about the blood vessel damage associated with diabetes and hope to find a new way to treat it. The article goes on to say that a separate research from University College London found sociocultural factors including time pressure, commuting time and where people live played a role in the risk of developing diabetes. Experts know that living a healthy lifestyle and maintaining a healthy weight reduces the chances of developing type 2 diabetes.
In conclusion the author points out that diabetes remains one of the biggest health challenges of our time. We must protect the health of the nation by taking urgent steps to get to grips with it or we will continue to see more and more people dying before their time.
I found this article not only interesting but also very useful and informative for people. It makes the readers to take thoughts about their health and maybe change something in their lifestyles to avoid diabetes and other diseases that are connected with it.

Dear friends, please, answer the questions:

  • Why the problem of diabetes is so urgent nowadays?
  • What should people do to avoid diseases and to be healthy?
  • Do you believe that professors will find a new effective way to treat diabetes?
